We acknowledge that we are proud to steward the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically, the shared traditional territories of the səl̓ilw̓ət (Tsleil-Waututh), sq̓əc̓iy̓aɁɬ təməxʷ (Katzie), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) First Nations.

Hoy/Scott Watershed Society (HSWS) is a registered Canadian charity and 100% volunteer-run environmental stewardship organization. We operate the Hoy Creek Hatchery and conduct a year-round salmon enhancement program in partnership with the City of Coquitlam and Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO).
Our work includes watershed restoration, salmon conservation, public awareness, environmental education, habitat preservation and community stewardship throughout the Hoy/Scott watershed.
