The Hoy Creek Fish Hatchery is located in Hoy Creek Linear Park, west of the City Centre Aquatic Complex and north of Guildford Way in Coquitlam, B.C., Canada. You have to walk in to find us, and the closest street is Princess Crescent however there are multiple walk in trail entrances along the linear park.
The hatchery building construction started in 1995 and was completed in 1997.

The Hoy Creek Hatchery includes a back storage and pump area, a small attic, an office (left door), an incubation room (right door), and Capilano trough area (far right of building). The building is situated next to Hoy Creek, and there is an outdoor salmon rearing pond, which used to be a trout hatchery, across a small foot bridge just west of the hatchery building.
The hatchery is the hub of most of our activities related to our salmon enhancement program, and houses our tools and supplies used in our work with the salmon, and the riparian area.
